Bye bye year old journal entry.

Not a great deal of worth to replace it with, but I should say, if you wanna keep in touch with what I'm up to, your best bet is to keep an eye on my spangly new website:

D8 you've helped me spring forth my drawing abilities, and it went a long way. i want to thank you so much for publishing your books. you've helped beginner artists, like me when i was little, to be inspired. i don't know if you still go on deviantart or not, but thank you, thank you, thank you so much!!! <3 <3 <3

I've actually known you were on dA for a while now, but only now (For some odd reason) can I say that your books when I was middle school, not only helped me tide through a crapload of bullying, but also paved the way for me to follow the road of a pro cartoonist! I haven't actually reached the end yet, but hey! Basically, your books are the reason I draw now! I will never forget the inspiration you gave me when I was about 12 or so...

Lorenz Arriola, wannabe cartoonist, at your service! Read my comics, will ya!

So you're the actual Katy Coope, huh? :)
I began my interest in drawing thanks to your How to Draw Manga book back when I was 11. I still have it (and its sequel) on my book shelf. I just looked you up out of curiosity, it's interesting to see where my childhood art-hero has gone. I am 20 years old now and have an associate's degree in studio art and am continuing in a bachelor's of fine arts program, and was just recently commissioned to write my own How to Draw Manga book... Thanks again for inspiring me as a child. :)
