Yes, okay, it's the Wilberforce building again. And this is the last one of the night, I swear. I actually meant to get a less exposed one of this, to get nice moody red tones like the two-tone alley pic, but apparently my camera decided not to save that. And to be honest, I like the liquid gold look of the tarmac here, and the really wide tone range. Fun stuff.
Where is this place, what's its significane? (doing city architecture at college so I take shots of decaying areas of Derby that are about to be demolished for regeneration.)
It's just one of the building on my campus. Affectionately known as the concrete monstrocity, because as a whole it's really quite ugly. Especially in comparison to the nice brick buildings of the rest of the univeristy. It just happened to have quite a few nicely lit parts.

Ah. I was on top of Derby Car parks taking shots of wreckage and abandoned building below. Someone mangaed to get on the roof of Woolworths to shot at the new eagle centre constructions site. Me and a mate had to settle for climbing onto non access sections of cock pit car park with a tripod and some SLR's.
I'm using a digital SLR atm (So I can practice getting my head around composition, shutter speed and arpeture without worrying about development costs).
When I'm back home, we so need to go urban decay shooting then. A good place to try if you've not been to it yet is the wireworks in Ambergate. I got a lot of shots there for my A Level stuff. You do have to dodge security a little but there's some very interesting stuff there.

Gotta love the colors, absolutely beautiful. Love how they contrast with the black. I have some really good photos I did of Starved Rock, but they seem to have disappeared (rummages)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. I love the colors in them. Especially the various colors of light. And you did an excellent job of framing them.
